FAQ (also gets FAQ schema for Google)
- Is Kenya safe for tourists and mission teams? Kenya hosts over a million visitors a year. We operate only in areas we know personally, follow travel advisories, use experienced drivers, and provide 24/7 in-country support. We’ll always give you a straight answer about any location.
- Do I need a visa? Most visitors apply online for Kenya’s Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) before flying. We send every confirmed guest a step-by-step guide.
- What vaccinations do I need? Consult a travel clinic 6–8 weeks before travel; yellow fever rules depend on your route. We provide a health-prep sheet, but your doctor has the final word.
- When is the best time to visit? July–October for the Great Migration; January–February for dry, bright safari weather; mission trips run well year-round.
- Do you require travel insurance? Yes — comprehensive travel insurance including medical evacuation is required on all our trips. It protects you, and we can point you to reputable providers.
- How far ahead should we book? Safaris: 3–6 months. Mission teams: 6–12 months, which gives time for fundraising and partner planning.
